Got yer Christmas bonus and 13th month pay yet? Because if you’re looking to gift yourself with a pair of kicks or two this yuletide season, this is the perfect opportunity for you.

Converse Philippines is holding this year’s Mega Sale at – where else? – SM Megamall from Dec 17 to 20. That’s this Thursday through Sunday upstairs at the Megatrade Hall. Promising discounts of up to 70%, the sale will include iconic sneaker models like Chuck Taylor All Star and Cons, plus all sorts of Converse apparel and merch.

It’s no secret that I’m a fan of the brand and my shoe closet will attest to that. And though I may not be lacking for Chuck hi-tops I do need a pair of lows, maybe a pair of white Jack Purcells, so I’ll definitely drop by. I’m doubting you’ll find any Chuck IIs though, unless they’re in some off-size nobody buys.
